الملخص
يشكّل الوجود العسكري الأمريكي في العراق بعد عام 2003 تحوّلًا محوريًا في الخارطة الأمنية والسياسية للبلاد والمنطقة على حدّ سواء، فعلى الرغم من أن التدخل جاء تحت ذرائع نشر الديمقراطية وإسقاط النظام الديكتاتوري، إلا أن نتائجه أفرزت واقعًا معقدًا اتّسم بغياب الاستقرار، وتنامي الصراعات الطائفية، وضعف مؤسسات الدولة، وتزايد النفوذ الخارجي، ورغم انسحاب القوات الأمريكية رسميًا عام 2011، فإن تصاعد تهديد تنظيم داعش في عام 2014 أعاد الولايات المتحدة إلى الساحة العراقية ضمن التحالف الدولي، لكن بصيغ مختلفة. وقد أثار هذا الوجود المتجدد جدلًا داخليًا وإقليميًا، خاصة مع تصاعد التوتر بين واشنطن وطهران، والذي بلغ ذروته في عام 2020، وعلى الرغم من الإعلان عن انتهاء المهام القتالية الأمريكية في 2021، استمر العراق في الفترة الممتدة إلى 2025 كبيئة صراع جيوسياسي مفتوح بين القوى الدولية والإقليمية، ما جعل من الوجود الأمريكي عنصرًا رئيسًا في إشكالية الأمن الإقليمي، بدلًا من أن يكون عامل استقرار
