الملخص
يتناول هذا البحث دور المنظمات الدولية في بناء السلام في جنوب السودان في ظل استمرار النزاعات الداخلية وهشاشة مؤسسات الدولة بعد الاستقلال عام 2011، ويهدف إلى تقييم فاعلية تدخل بعثة الأمم المتحدة في جنوب السودان (UNMISS)، والاتحاد الإفريقي، ومنظمة الإيغاد، إلى جانب المنظمات الإنسانية، في دعم مسارات السلام والحد من العنف.
ينطلق البحث من فرضية مفادها أن تدخل المنظمات الدولية كان ضرورياً وأسهم في تحقيق نجاحات جزئية، لا سيما في حماية المدنيين، وتخفيف المعاناة الإنسانية، والحفاظ على العملية السياسية، إلا أن هذه الجهود لم تفض إلى سلام مستدام، ويعزى ذلك إلى عوامل داخلية بنيوية، أبرزها ضعف الحكم الرشيد والانقسامات الإثنية والسياسية، فضلاً عن تحديات خارجية تمثلت في تداخل أجندات الفاعلين الدوليين والإقليميين ومحدودية آليات الإلزام.
اعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفي–التحليلي المدعوم بالمقارنة، ويخلص إلى أن تحقيق السلام المستدام في جنوب السودان يتطلب مقاربة شاملة تعالج جذور النزاع، وتعزز الملكية الوطنية، وتربط جهود بناء السلام بالإصلاح المؤسسي والعدالة الانتقالية على المدى الطويل
