The submission process for the Iraqi Journal of Political Science requires authors to ensure their submissions meet all of the following requirements:
1. The research must be submitted through the journal's official website. Submissions made via any other means will not be accepted.
2. Submitted research papers must be typed using Microsoft Word. Papers printed on tablets will not be accepted. The font should be Simplified Arabic, size 14, single-spaced. Main headings should be in bold, size 14. Quotations should be in font size 12 and indented at least 0.5 cm on both the left and right margins. Papers should be printed on A4 paper with normal margins.
3. Submitted research papers must be written in Arabic or English and must not exceed 5,000 words.
4. The second page should contain an abstract in both Arabic and English, not exceeding 80 words, and should include a maximum of five keywords. 5. Documenting research sources must adhere to the Chicago style, using a bibliographic approach (reference lists). This involves writing a footnote (or endnote) at the bottom of each page, providing all relevant information about the source, and then numbering the footnotes sequentially on each page in the margins, using size 12.
Use Simplified Arabic for Arabic sources and Times New Roman for English sources.
6. Submitted research must include the researcher's name, email address, specialization, and place of work in both Arabic and English.
7. The research must include the researcher's curriculum vitae and place of work.
8. The text of the submitted work must comply with the stylistic and formatting requirements outlined in the author guidelines, which can be found in the journal's introductory text on this website.
9. Upon receipt of the research, the journal will notify the researcher of its receipt within 5 business days. 10. Researchers will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their research within two to three months. Researchers whose research is accepted for publication will be notified of the publication date and provided with an acceptance letter.
11. Where necessary, links to the references used in the work have been added (these links are URLs).
12. The research is submitted for electronic plagiarism detection.
13. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions will result in the delay or non-publication of the research.
14. If the encyclopedia does not include the names of its contributors, it is documented under the name of the supervising body. For example:

This style requires the complete data of the source or reference from which the quotation was taken to be recorded when it is mentioned for the first time. Third. Documenting a book with two or more authors:
• If the book has two authors, the names of both authors are listed.
• If the book has three authors, the names of all three authors are listed in the same way as for the two authors.
• If the book has four or more authors, the name of the first author is listed, followed by the phrase "and others," and so on.
• The same system is followed for English books in the case of two or three authors, and the phrase "and others" is added in the case of four or more authors.
Fourth. Documenting a book without a specific author:

Fifth. Documenting a book with an anonymous author:
• If the author's name is not written, then the author is listed as "[Anonymous]". However, if the author can be identified in some way, then the author's name can be placed in square brackets -------- ]]
• Documenting a book without a date: If the reference has no date, the date is written in square brackets as "[Date unknown]" or "nod"
Sixth. Documenting a chapter in a book with multiple authors:
If the book has multiple authors, and each chapter has a specific author, the material is documented under the chapter author's name.
Seventh. Documenting a book translated into Arabic:
It is documented as follows: author's name, book title, translator's name with a translation before their name, other publication details, and page number.
Eighth. Documenting university theses:
If a researcher quotes material from a university thesis, it is documented as follows:
1. The researcher's name followed by a comma (,)
2. Thesis title in quotation marks "------"
3. In parentheses The following should be included:

5. Whether it is published or unpublished, followed by a comma (,)
